The BPF is able to represent the views of the property industry effectively because we have a strong, participating membership drawn from a wide range of players in the industry, all of whom have a contribution to make in providing the most effective and efficient real estate needed for modern life and business and a sound investment for our savings.

We are a multi-faceted organisation with members from institutions, fund managers, investment banks and corporate property owners and developers, as well as a residential element of both commercial investors and individual landlords. In addition, we have members from the professions which support the property industry such as agents, lawyers, accountants, and consultants.

Every day BPF members make key contributions to the economic and social well-being of the UK. Our commercial members provide the workspace for business and fund the regeneration of our towns and cities. Our residential members focus on the private rented sector, providing housing choice to meet the needs of a mobile workforce, a prerequisite for achieving higher growth in our economy. And our investor members rely on the performance of £250 billion worth of investment in property to fund pensions.
